A fused 8" paper cut from a freezer paper pattern - continued

    Download PDF File
Your freezer paper pattern will look similar to this when it is completely cut from the freezer paper.

Next cut a piece of fusible slightly larger than the pattern. In this case we cut an 8" square of no-sew fusible.

Adhere it to the wrong side of the applique fabric following the manufacturer's directions. Do not remove the paper backing. Allow to cool.

Place the freezer paper pattern on the right side of the applique fabric. Iron in place. Allow to cool. When completely cool, remove the paper backing from the fusible.
Using a very sharp pair of fabric scissors, cut around the freezer paper pattern.

Remove the freezer paper. Your fabric paper cut is ready to adhere to your background fabric. Center it on your background square and adhere following the manufacturer's directions.
