|Apple Blossom Quilts' Newsletter|
This is going to be a very short newsletter as we are all very busy with holiday preparations.
Did I tell you that one of the quilting items on by bucket list was to do a Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt? This is the year that I'm going for it. So far I've been able to keep up but........... (By the way, I'm loving it.)
| At the Haidle house we are deep into Christmas cookie baking. I have 15 different types of cookies planned. Have only done 4 so far so this coming week will be very busy.
As we all run around rather frantically at this time of year, I've found that the hour or so I spend each day with my appliqué has a soothing and calming affect on me.
May you and your family have a happy holiday season.
|Lesson 12 - Lining Applique Patches|
|This is another lesson that is worth its weight in gold. Since I have learned how to line applique patches that either show their own seam allowance, the background or seam allowances of other patches, I have always used this technique. I keep lining fabric with every projects so that I can quickly and easily line any patch that needs it.||
