|Mountain Laurel Quilt Guild - Boone, North Carolina|
| Thru the efforts of two gals on Tuesday, August 21, I was fortunate enough to present a workshop and trunk show to the warm and friendly ladies of the Mountain Laurel Quilt Guild in Boone, North Carolina.
Karen Johnson and Georgie McKenzie helped arrange this. Karen and Georgie grew up in the same church and girl scout troop in Webster City. I wasn't in the girl scout troop but I was in the same church just a couple of years behind. Can you believe that all three of us are appliquérs. What are the odds?
|Quilters By The Sea, Portsmouth, Rhode Island|
| We had another warm welcome from the Quilters By The Sea in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
The workshop was a real challenge for me as they had several very experienced appliquérs. None had every done back basting before although they all knew what it was. I love a challenge and this group kept me on my toes.
|Ninigret Quilters - Westerly, Rhode Island|
| This delightful group provided the largest trunk show turn out yet. They also like their treats. A big thank you to the gals who provided snacks.
The next day the workshop gals kept me on my toes gain. Several of the participants were experienced appliquérs.
