| It's the western United States in 2019 for us.
| In the spring of 2019, my husband and I (and, of course, our Lab, Daisy) will be traveling to the western United States. We love traveling and during the last four years have been to Alaska, British Columbia, Ontario, Florida, Arizona and Michigan. In the fall of 2018 we will be traveling to the New England States. On these trips I have given trunk shows and workshops.
Next we will be traveling to the western United States from April 1, 2019 - May 31, 2019. . We would love to come to your area. We travel in our 5th wheel. As this will be a vacation for us, your guild will not have to provide housing, travel expenses, meals or any related expenses. There is a charge of $100.00 for the trunk show(s). I will do up to 2 - one during the day and one in the evening. The workshop is $400.00 per class. In addition, to help defray the cost of our travels, I do sell my patterns at both the trunk show and the workshop.
This makes my trunk show and workshop a very inexpensive program for your guild. Scroll down to see references.

Hello Connie Sue,
Thank you so much for the wonderful workshop you held for the Martin County Quilters! We all enjoyed the day and learned so much. Your students ran the gamut from true beginners to experienced appliquers and everyone went home happy and inspired. As a quilt instructor I know how difficult it is to teach a class that includes various skill levels and I am extremely impressed at how well you managed that.
Though I’ve appliquéd for years, I’ve never tried back basting before and will add it to my techniques. Practicing the techniques you taught will help me move up to the next level in my appliqué skills. I’m working on completing my class sample and I plan to use them on your new block of the month series.
Thank you again,

Ms. Haidle, My daughter is a school teacher in San Antonio Texas. She is going to love this wall hanging. Thank you for the wonderful work in helping all of us to enjoy quilting. I am getting my Button and Blooms quilt ready to finish and quilt. I finished the last applique block you sent and it's so beautiful. I really like to back baste, I seem to be more accurate and enjoy the process a lot more than all of the prep work for needle turn. Thank you for all your wonderful talent and for being a terrific teacher. Jan Podovitz Leakey Texas

Wanted to let you know how very much I enjoyed the treat of a class you had on applique...and I am really inspired to start applique again! ..... You are a wonderful teacher and your instructions are very simple to understand. You keep it simple so it is easy to follow. You had a lot of little tips I was not aware of in the past, so I look forward to trying them and building my skills!!! Again thank you for a wonderful class, and look forward to hearing from you, and possibly taking another class someday!

Appliqué Workshop Reviews
I really enjoyed the appliqué workshop Sept 15th. Her instructions were to the point, explicit and not overly embellished. I found her easy to understand, she didn't stray off subject. The knowledge she imparted made me feel that I could continue with her techniques and accomplish a project. I did recommend my friends in Sudbury to attend her workshop if they had the opportunity.
This workshop was awesome. Connie Sue was very well prepared, well organized, with excellent samples of each step of her appliqué methods and worthwhile tips and shortcuts that she had learnt over the years. The hand outs were very clear and easy to follow. She was also a great teacher willing to give individual instruction and demonstration when necessary. Her personality went a long way to making the day fun as well as instructive. I would certainly recommend her workshop to anyone.
What an organized workshop and lovely lady teaching it. Connie Sue sure knows her stuff when it comes to hand appliqué and she also knows how to teach it well. I learned a great many tips and techniques. The only thing left is practice, practice, practice.
I took the Appliqué Workshop. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I am a beginner in the area. Found Connie Sue was very informative and a wonderful teacher.
I enjoyed the appliqué workshop by Connie Sue.She explained the techniques and demonstrated them clearly and gave us time to practise what she had just shown us. She gave lots of little tips to improve our work. I am so glad that I took her workshop.
